We’re excited to announce the opening of “Puerto Rican Equation: Mixed Media Works, Video, and El Espíritu Santo,” an exhibition by the renowned artist Juan Sánchez. The exhibition will be open to the public on October 15, 2024, at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture. It’s been over 20 years since Sánchez exhibited in Chicago, and we are honored to celebrate his life and legacy by sharing his talent and powerful message!

This powerful collection explores themes of Puerto Rican identity, colonialism, and cultural heritage. Through a fusion of photography, painting, and symbolism, Sánchez’s work tells stories of resilience, history, and the ongoing struggle for self-determination.
