The most important poetry festival in Spanish in the Midwest, returns in its 2025 edition with the theme AMANECERES—a celebration of new beginnings, resilience, and the power of words. This FREE Community Poetry Reading will be held at the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts and Culture. This year, the festival brings together outstanding guest poets from Latin America, Spain, and Chicago’s diverse Latinx communities, creating a space where poetry becomes a bridge between histories, voices, and cultures. You will also be able to enjoy the musical performance by Los Pleneros de Don Segundo and a performance by Raíces to Roots with Luis Tubens.
