23rd Annual Barrio Arts Festival

Bring your lawn chair, and enjoy delicious food and live entertainment at Barrio Arts Fest this weekend!! The first 100 people each day will get a free drawstring sports bag! Support local artisans, artists, restaurants, and live musical performances (Salsa, Jazz, Cuatro, Bomba, etc). We will have something for everyone, including art workshops and the best part… entrance is FREE (although donations are appreciated). See the schedule of performances and workshops below.
We are also opening our new exhibit, “Resistencia y Libertá,” in collaboration with Bombazo Wear Bombazo Wear: BOMBA & Caribbean Skirts. Meet the Curator, Miltieri Tucker Concepción this weekend. We will have a special workshop on Sat, 7/8, at 2 PM with Cocobalé Gran Maestro, Miguel Quijano.
In addition, on Sunday, 7/9, starting at 2 PM, we will immerse you in our AfroBoricua Indigenous roots with AfriCaribe, La Escuelita de Bombera de Corazón, Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center’s Colectivo Sayba, as they join forces for a Community Bombazo!
