We are located in the Humboldt Park community in Chicago
The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture is located at 3015 West Division Street in the historic Humboldt Park Stables. The building is located on the southwest corner of Division Street and Sacramento Boulevard at the western gateway of “Paseo Boricua”, the Puerto Rican culinary, cultural and entertainment district.
The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture prides itself on truly being a community museum, open to all community residents and visitors. Consistent with this spirit, we do not charge admission.
The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture recognizes the diversity of our general public’s abilities and needs, and we offer a variety of programs and services to ensure the accessibility of the Museum and its exhibits and events.
All public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible including the entrance, galleries, bathrooms and the courtyard.
NMPRAC has a free parking facility for visitors at its Division Street entrance. Guests may also park along Humboldt Park’s inner drive and at the Humboldt Park Boat House if it is not in use.
NMPRAC is fully accessible using public transportation. Guests can take the CTA Blue Line train to the Division Street stop (on Division Street and Ashland Avenue). Take the Division Street bus (#70) west and get off at the Division and Humboldt stop. The entrance to NMPRAC is a short walk west of the bus stop and located on the south side of Division.
