The National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture is hosting the 18th Edition of Barrio Arts Fest during the July 14th and 15th weekend, commemorating the opening of the museum after the reconstruction of the Humboldt Park Stables. Every year, this signature arts festival offers workshops for the entire family and features local artists, traditional dance and musical performances, and local food vendors.

*FEATURED ACTIVITIES*

  • Y No Había Luz, a theater company from Puerto Rico, will delight us with an art exhibit along with family workshops and a performance.
  • Marisa Paolicelli de Jesús, author of There’s a coquí in my shoe and Light-keepers to the Rescue! will do a book reading for the kids and we ‘ll offer a lighthouse family workshop.
